RE: Block Party Request
The city has received a request from residents on 154th Court
West to hold a block party on Saturday, July 14, 1990, from 3:00
p.m. to 10;00 p.m. The party will be held in the cul-de-sac at
the end of 154th Court West.
The people in charge of organizing the party were reguested to
receive permission or an indication from residents an 154th Court
West, the south side of 153rd Street West and from residents on
Danbury Avenue from 153rd Street West to just south of 154th
Court West that they do not object to the block party. Attached
is a copy of the petition representing 100� of the residents on
these streets.
Julie Epperson, coordinator for the party, advised the party will
be a pot luck, BYOB and possibly stereo music.
If Council approves the block party request, the public works
department will drop off barricades to, be placed at the entrance
of the cul-de-sac. Julie Epperson will be requested to be
responsible for moving the i�arricades in the event police or fire
service would be needed during the party. The party organizers
will also be responsible for cleaning up the area after the party
is over.
It is my recommendation you approve the block party request and
allow barricades to be placed at the entrance to the cul-de-sac
at 154th Court West on July 14, 1990 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
