RE: Attendance at Minnesota State Fire Chief' s Conference
Again this year we would request authorization to send the c'hief
and assistant chief to the Minnesota Chief' s Conference to be
held in mid-0ctober., Last year 's conference, held in Rochester,
was quite informational. This year ' s. conference is scheduled to
be held: in Duiuth and also looks 'to be quite informational and '
worthwhile.
Conference registration for the two persons attending is
approximately $200.`00. Travel `expenses including meals, lodging,
etc. 'was approximately $300.00 last year. The total expenditure'
is approximately $50Q.00 and that amount has been budgeted and is
still available :for 1990.
We would look to the City Council to make a MOTION TO AUTHORIZE
THE ATTENDANCE OF THE CHIEF AND THE ASSISTANT CHIEF AT THE 1990
MINNESOTA STATE FIRE GHIEF' S CONFERENCE. �
