ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT — HAN3 ABRAHAMSEN Mr. Hans Abrahamsen has petitioned the City to rezone two parcels of land totaling around 110 acres from Agriculture (AG) to Agriculture Preserve AG-P (see attached map) . The properties in question are located in Section 31, Range l8 - north of 160th Street and east of Coates. Mr. Abrahamsen has also applied to •enroll the properties in question into the Metropolitan Agricultural Preserves Program. City Council has recently been provided with a copy of a report from the Metropolitan Council which explains this program. The City requires that all properties - enrolled in the Agriculture Preserves Program be rezoned to. AG-P to ensure that the allowed development density of 1 home per 40 acres is not exceeded. The Planning Commission at its January 23, 1990 meeting recommended approval of the Hans Abrahamsen Rezoning Petition to City Council. Enclosed with this . review is a copy of the required Ordinance Amendment which must be authorized be authorized by City Council. w 1 CITY OF ROSEMOUNT ORDINANCE NO. B-2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE B CITY OF ROSEMOUNT ZONING ORDINANCE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Ordinance No.B, adopted September 19, 1989, entitled "City of Rosemount Zoning Ordinance," is hereby amended to rezone from Agriculture to Agriculture Preserve the following described properdes located within the City of Rosemount, Minnesota to•wit: The Southwest Quarter (SV��) of the Northeast Quarter (NFi) of Section 31, Township 115, Range 18, Dakota County, Minnesota. The West Half �) of the Southeast Quarter (SF 4), except the east 579 feet of the west 612 feet of the south 435.60 feet and except the south 510.6 feet lying east of the west 612 feet thereof, subject to road aver south 50 feet of Section 31, Township 115, Range 18, Dakota County, Minnesota. SECTION 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount refened to and described in said Ordinance No. B as that certain map entided, "Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount," sha11 not be republished to show the aforesaid rezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark the said zoning map on file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of indicating the rezoning hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance and all of the notation references and other � information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this � Ordinance. _ � �� SECTION 3.
