This item is on the agenda for Tuesday because of a request of Mr.
Ron Jacobson. (See letter attached)
Following the receipt of this letter a meeting was held at City
Hall with Mayor Napper, Dave Bechtold, members of the neighborhood
committee, which Mr. Jacobson references, and I.
During that meeting I recommended that to better define a process
to gather input, set a master plan .and mission for the use of
Carrolls Woods a RFP should be designed to utilize community, City
Staff and consultant input.
This process, along with the actual process to follow, would allow
the best format for community involvement while reaching the goal
of determining what the best utilization of Carrolls Woods would
be.
Because of the lateness of this action I am unable to present any
further information on this matter for packet inclusion. I will
attempt, by meeting time, to provide an outline of inethodology for
proceeding under this scenario.
