RE: B1ock Party Requests
You will find as follows descriptions of two block party requests
for which I ask for you approval under the consent agenda. As
with all block party requests, I have asked for signatures of
residents, in the surrounding area, which indicates their
approval of the block party. For both of the below block
parties, I have received the required signatures.
Block Party A•
This party will be held on Saturday, August 25, 1990 from Noon to
8:00 p.m. Barricades will be placed at 151st Street and Shannon
Parkway and at Danbury Avenue and just north of 152nd Court.
B1ock Party B:
This garty will be held on Saturday, August 25, 1990, fram Noon
to 9:00 p.m. Barricades will be placed on 155th Street and just
west of Danville Avenue and 155th Street and just east of 155th
Court.
Our public works department will deliver the barricadas on Friday
and pick them up on Monday. I will address letters to the party
organizers advising them they are responsible for removing the
barricades in the event of an emergency and for cleaning up the
area.
