3ET HEARING DATE FOR HANS ABRAHAMSEN REZONINt� PETITIOI�
Mr. Hans Ab�ahamsen has petitioned the City to rezone two parcels
of land totaling around 110 acres from Agriculture (AG) to
Agriculture Preserve AG-P. The properties i.n question are located
in Section 31, Range 18 - north of 160th Street and east of Coates.
Mr. Abrahamsen has also applied to enroll the properties in
question into the Metropolitan Agricultural Preserves Program.
Council has recently been provided with a report fram the
Metropolitan Council which explains this program. The City
requires that all properties enrolled in the Agriculture Preserves
Program be rezoned to AG-P to ensure that the allowed development
density of 1 home per 40 acres is not exeeeded.
Staff requests that the City Council set a Public Hearing date for
February 6, 199� at 8:Oq p.m to consider the Hans Abrahamsen
Rezoning Petition.
