Project 182.1, Pumphouse ��8
This item consist of Cc�uncil officially apgroving the plans and specifications
for the construction of Pumphouse 4�8 and also ordering the "Advertisements for
Bids" that would set a bid date of February 16, 199Q at 10:00 a.m.
The Utilities Commissian has reviewed the plans and with a few minor revisians
recommended that they be taken to Council for Council approval. The estimated
cost of the pumphouse, including all the mechanical and electrical equipment, is
about $175,000.
Recommended action for Council to consider is to adopt the attached resolution
approving the plans and specifications and order the "Advertisement for Bid"
far Contract 1990-1, Project 182.1, Pumphouse 4�8.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
PUMPHOUSE �8
PROJECT 182.1
WHEREAS, the• Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared
final plans and specifications for Pumphouse �8, Project #182. 1,
and such plans and specifications have been presented to this
Council for approval:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Rosemount, Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and
ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk,
2 . The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official City newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an
advertisemerit �or bids upon the m�king of such improvements
under such approved plans and specifications for Project
#182. 1.
� 3 . The advertisement shall be published in each of said
publications at least once not less than ten (10) days
before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work
to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened on
February 16, 1990 at 10: 00 o'clock a. m, at Rosemount City
Hall in said City and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a
cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the C.ity Cl�rk for five (5�) percent of the
amount of such bid.
