The Shannon Hills lst & 2nd Addition will be the f st addition that
we will be installing street lights through N.S.P. in the N.S.P.
service area under the Group 5 Street Light Rate. The procedure that
we are following is that City Staff, upon request from the Developer,
fills out an application with N.S.P. to install street lights within
the specified subdivision. N.S.P. then draws up the plans for Staffs
approval. Upon Staffs approval with the street lighting plan N.S.P.
then fills out a work request indicating the cost installing` the
street lights within the specified subdivision. N.S.P. will not
install any street lights without receiving payment first. We are
handling this by informing the Developer of the cost and before we
allow N.S.P. to proceed we xequire receipt of payment from the
Developer.
Attached is a copy of the check we received from the Developer and the
purchase order that we would inturn instruct N.S.P. to begin
installing the street lights.
Recommended action for Council to take is to approve of the street
light installation in the Shannon Hills 1st and 2nd Addition.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve N.S.P. installing street lights
in the Shannon Hills 1st and 2nd Addition.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
