Every three years as part of our on-going fitness testing a Rosemount fire
fighter is given a stress test. This test is administered by doctors and
technicians at the Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Including
persons new to the fire department and those persons on the three-year
cycle, we have 18 people scheduled to undergo stress testing in early 1991.
The cost for these tests is $135.00 per fire fighter. The total cost for
1991 to test those 18 fire fighters would be $2,430. 00. This money has
been budgeted for in 1991.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by city council to allow the fire department to spend $2,430. 00
and send 18 persons for stress testing.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
