Plans
Although Council authorized going for bids last meeting, we need to do
it by a formal resolution. The resolution calls for approving the
plans and authorizing January 4, 1991 at 10: 00 a.m. to be the bid
opening date. Council will consider awarding bids, ir►cluding or
excluding alternates, at the January 15, 1991 meeting.
Attached is a copy of a reduced set of plans for Councils review.
Because of their bulkiness, the specs are not included with this memo.
any Councilmember desiring to review the specs or a full size set of
plans may do so at City Hall.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a resolution approving plans &
specifications and authorizing advertisement of bids, Valley Oak Pond
Outlet, City Project #�197 .

RESOLUTION 1990 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
VALLEY OAR POND OUTLET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #197
WHEREAs, the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared
final plans and specifications for Va11ey Oak Pond Outlet
Improvements, Project #197, and such plans and specifications
have been presented to this Council for approval:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Rosemount, Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and
ordered placed on file in the office of the City C1erk.
2 . The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official City newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements
under such agproved plans and specifications for City
� Project #197.
- 3 . The advertisement shall be published in each of said
publications at least once not less than three (3) weeks
before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work
to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened on
January 4; 1991 at 10:00 o'clock a. . m. at Rosemount City
Hall in said City and that na bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a
cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five (5%) percent of the
amount of such bid.
