SUBJ: Genz-Ryan Project
Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.175, Sabdivision 3 explains that "[a]
municipality shall approve the tax incrcment financing plan only after a pabtic
hearing thereon after published notice in a newspaper of general circulation
in the municipality at least once not less than ten days nor more than 30
days prior to the date of the hearing,"
Pursuant to this Statute, the HRA respectl'ully requests that the City Council
schedule a Public Hearing to receive input on Modifica�i,on V of the
Rosemaunt Redevelopment Plan (the Genz-Ryan Project) on Tuesday, March�
21, 1989, at 8:00 P.M. Notice of [he Public Hearing witl appear in the Dakota
-County Tribune thirty days prior to the set date. Copies af Modification V
will be sent to Independent School District #196 and the Dakota County Board
of Commissioners for comment and approvaL The Rosemount Planning
Commission will also review Modification V to ensure its compliance with the
carrent land use plans in Rosemount.
