t is time to think "snow". The City has again been aP�raa����ent fQr ��awe of
Minnesota, Department of Transportation to enter into a g
removal on Trunk Hig�way 3.
The necessary forms have been filled out aceordingly. We are following the saine
procedure as last year. �
Recommendation for eouncil to consider is to adopt the att�ched resolution
enterin into an agreement with the D.O.T. for snow removal on Trunk Highway 3,

RESOLUTION 1989 -
A RESOLUTION IN CQOPEItATION WITH STATE FOR
SNOW REMOVAL ON TRUNK HIGHWAY AtUMBER 3
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has been approached by officials af the rtinn�sota
State Highway Department to enter inta a cooperative Agreement for the removal o£
snow on Trunk Hi�hway Number 3 wi�hin the City pf RosemQunt in Dakota County,
Minnesota.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the �osemount City Couneil hexeby authorizes
and instruets its officers and employees to pravide trucks as required by the
Mxnnesota State Highway Department for the removal of snow from Highway Number 3
with the Gity of Rosemount, the Agreement being that State equipment will glow,
windrow and load the snow, and the removal and d�sposal will be by means of fully
operated trucks furnished by the City of Rosemount; and
BE IT FIIRTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Administrator be and hereby are
— authorized and instructed to exeeute two certified copies of this Resolution and
deliver same to State Highway officials for this Maintenance District; and also
to execute any additional instruments for this purpose that msy be required by
the Piinnesota Highway llepartment.
ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 19$9.
