RE: Authorization to Request Quotes on Playground Equipment
Playground equipment is identified far gurchase in the 19$9 budget for
Chipgendale Park. In the I99U budget funds have been set for the replacement
of the equipment in Dallaza Park.
NOTE: Funds for Connemara equipment were used in 1988 ta purchase the items
for Chippendale. That was due to unusual damage and breakdown of the
Chippendale equipment ahead of the tfine table predicted. Those Chippendale
funds are now requested for release to be used in Connemara Fark.
Council authorization is requested to obtain quotes that xill assist in the
eventual purchase of the equipment.
The Parks & Recreatioa Department is asking far quotes on the equipment and
instal�.ation based upan both 1989 and 1990 budgets. Tn i.te�s �even <7) and
eight (8) of the quote request eheet thi.s is clarified.
Cauncil action is to "suthorize the Parks & Recreatioa D@p8'XCID@At t0 obtain
quotes relating to plapground equipment for Connemara Fark and 1�llara
Psrk".

The Rosemount Parks Department 3s requesting informal quotes for pl�yground
equipment. Attached is a general guide to follow for the equ3pment that we
are requesting.
The materisi to use in your quate is redwood.
