SET HEARING DATE FpR AAA SALVAGE ZONING AMENDMENT TEXTIMAP
Based on discussion regarding the AAA proposal by City Council at the April
11th Special Council Meetin�, I would recammend ihat the Council set a public
hearing date co consider the petilion of the Andersen's, owners of AAA Salvage
to amend the Zoning Qrdinance text to include Recyc(ing (salvage) operations as
an allowed use in the Gemerai Industrial District subject to permit requirements
which will be included in the ordinance (Section 149 af Proposed Zoning
�rdinance. The petition of the Andersen's also requests rezoning of the
proposed site from Agriculture to General Industrial.
Staff requests that City Council set a Pubiic Hearing c�ate to consider this
petition €c�r May 2, 1984, at 8:Q0 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible.
