Ordinance Adoption
Attached please find the draft ordinance required ta institute
the changes in salary and per diem payments for the ci.ty council
and mayor. This wi11 require a simple motion tv adopt the
ordinance. Again, theae changes wi11 take place an January l ,

AN ORDINANCE AMENDTHG TITLE I, CHAPTER SI%,
SECTION i-6-1 OF T8E ROSEMOUNT CiTY G4D8 -
The Citp Council oF the Citq of Rosemount, Minnesota ordaine� as
fallows:
SECTIpN �.-6-1 . Tit1e I, Chapter 6 0€ the Rosemount Citp Cod� is 1
amended to read as £allows:
1-6-1 : SALARIES AND C�MPENSATION:
i A. Salaries Established: Commencing January 1, 1990, the
salaries £or Mayor and Council for the City shall be as
follows:
Maqor . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .: . . . . . . . . . .$350.00 per month
Council. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$904.00 per month

B. Per Diem Payments: Commencing January 1 , 1990, per diem in
the amount of twenty dollars ($20.00) per meeting wi,ll be
paid to the mayor and any councilarember who attends meetings
in the City of Rosemount excluding regulariy scheduled
council meetings. A per diem payment in the amount af
twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per meeting wf11 be paid to the
• �-- mapor and any city cauncilmember who attends .meetings
outside the City of Rosemount. In addition to per diem far
out of city meetings , expenses concurred while attending
meetings while on city business will be reimbursed to the
mayor and councilmembers. No more than one per diem pex day
may be claimed.
C. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 176.011 � Sut�diviaion
9 , Clause 5, the elected officials of the City of Rosemount
are hereby included in coverage of the Minnesota Workers
Compensation Act. -
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
