I At the MarCh meeting of the RFD, the bylaws of the department -
' were amended. ' This change was made in keeping with all
; provisions of the bylaws. A copy of the amendment is attached.
! In order to be in ct�mpliance with state g�uidelines, the response
� area has to be determined by "time" and not "political
! boundaries". :Th� city ,attorney has been consulted and this
� change should meet a11 state requirements.

; needed 'changes to city orc�inances ar policy.

. AMENDMENT TO THE BYLAWS OF THE ,
ROSEMOUNT FIRE DEPARTMENT �'
. ARTICLE l
Section 2. New members may be added to the department until
the number of inembers reaches that number allowed by City Council
; action. Anyone applying for membership, or desiring to retain
membership, must live within a 4 .0 minute *response time of the
fire station, or be a resident of Rosemount .
.
*"response time" shall be that time required to go from the
� applicants/members driveway/home to the fire station parking lot.
; All driving laws must be obeyed.
