I have received notification, from the S�ate of Minnesota Department of Human Rights that the plan was approved. � They �did indicate` that certain eorrections wi11 have to be made ' in the plan prior to the first annual report is sent to them in � 12 months but the eorrections are minor enough that the plan, as submittedrreceived their approval and the certificate of � compliance (attached) was presented, � I would suggest that for purposes of review and discussion you � would bring your copy of the document with you on Tuesday , evening. I would not suggest that we do a page by page review of ; the document but rather touch on the implications as they apply � to the City of Rosemount, ' , i t ,. � Based upon the calculations required to complete the repart the ; City of Rosemount does not, at khis time find itself, in need of ; hiring minorities. Bttt we will need to address, over the next { twa years a laek of female employees in eertain positions.' At ; least one of these should be filled by promotion and, based upon I projected growth, the other two may be filled by hiring, Again, as I addressed previously, the law does not specifically require us to hire but to make every attempt possible, as set out in our plan to utilize hirxng, training and promotions to meet the, required quotas.
