The first of the three items Change 0rder �2 covers was for the extension of both culuerts under John Hawkzns driveway, In order to prouide a safe recovery area from the west edge of l�tr. Hawkins $riveway the culverts were extended about $' westerly. The seeond item completed topsoiling and sodding i�ir. Goodrichs' abandoned easterly driveway. This item was accidently left off the completian of the Shannon Parkway Project ��171. Mr. Goodrichs' easterly drive�say was abandoned because it confl'zcted with the southwest radius of the Dodd Boulevard and Shannon Parkway intersection. i�tr. Goodrich has another driveway on the westerly partion of his Iat. We also provided access off Shannon Parkway for him. The cost £or this was included in the City share caiculation of the cost ta be assessed. The last item was necessary to control erosion along the erosion prone areas of the pond slope. The total cost of this change order was already included with the previous resolution Council past adopting the cost to be assessed resolution. Processing the paperwork to obtain the neceasary signatures was the reason the change order did not precede the cost to be assessed resalution. Recommended action for Council to take is to approve Ghange Order �2 to Contract 1988-2, Hawkins Pond/Section 30 Sanitary Sewer Improvements and authorize the Alayor and Gity C1erk to sign the document. u .,i_k. ... .
