Subj; �ire Marshal Position Recommendatian
The City received eight applications for the advertised position of Fire
Marshal. Those apptieations were reviewed by the Fire 14tarshal
committee and Dean Johnsoa, Directar of Community T.�eveloprnent with
three applicants selected for inkerviews. From the three candidates
interviewed we atl unanimously agreed on Mr. George Lundy.
Mr. Lundy is a full-time firefighter for the Gity of BurnsviUe with �S
years combined experience in fire su�pression, inspections and fire
' prevention�"'�°`�or the past 2�1/2 yea�rs Mr: Lundy has bsen doing fire
inspections part-time for the City of Eagan. We atl feel that his
qualifications are excelient.
Mr. Lundy has a personal convictic�n to fire safety and is very eager Eo
work with us at the City of Rosernctunt. I have offered the position ta
him contingent u}�on Cauncil ap}�roval, with a starting salary of $12.00 per
hour.
Mr. Lurtdy is available Eo start wark �n August 21, 1489.
I have contacted his re�erences wiCh very good recommendations coming
from each of them.
