SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 24, 1989
Pursuant to due call and no�iee thereof a special meeting c,f the City
Council of the �ity o€ 12osemaunt was duly he].d on Monday, April 2�,
1989, at 6;30 p.m. in the Cauncil Chambers of the City Hall.
Mayor Hake called �he meeting to order with Counci,lmembPrs Walsh,
Wippermann, and Napper present. Couneilmember Oxbarough was absent.
Mayor Hoke led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance.
County Board Member Steven Loeding and Lou Breimhurst, Resource
Recovery Pro�ect Manager far Dakota Cour�ty, reviewed the siting process
�or the resource recovery pro�ect and discussed more s�ecifically the
University o€ Minnesata site being proposed by the County. ,
City Counci]. and staff presented d3.scussion concerning the city's
position about possible positive asp�cts of the pro�ect rel:ating to
industrtal and commercial development if i� is constr�xcted in the eity.
Mayor iioke p�esented a letter outlining these comments to Commissioner
Loeding for presentatian to the County Board. See Clerk' s File 1989-
12.
