Council held the public hearing for this project on Atarch 21, 1989. This groject
was a 1Q0% petitioned project.
Recommended actian fox CounciZ to consider would be to adopt the attached
resolution approving the plans & specifications �or Contract 19$9-2, West Ridge
3rd Addition Utility and Street Improvements, subject to rec�ipt of the signed
development eontract and letter of credit, and authorize a bid opening date of
Piay 26, 1989 at 10:00 a.m,

� WIiEREAS, the Consulting Engineers for the Gity have prepared final plans and
j specifieations for West Ridge 3rd Addition Utility & Street Improvements, Projeet
� �195, and such plans and specifications have beecz presented to this Cauncil for
� approval;
iNOW THEREEORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Citq Council of the City of Rosemount
J tiinnesota: '

� 1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on
' file in the office of the City Glerk.
' 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
� City newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
� , the making of such improvements under such approued plans and specifications £or

3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at
I least ance not less than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening 'bids,
sha11 specify the work to be done, shall state that bids wi11 be publicly opened
� on May 26, 1989 at 10:00 o'cloek a.m, at Rosemount City Ha11 in said Gity and
� that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
� aecompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certi£ied cheek ` '
payable ta the City Clerk far five (5�) percent of the amount af such bid.
