Receive Bids/Award Gontract 1988-5, �'Leary's Hill,s 4th Addition
On Agri1 28, 19$9 we received bids for this project which consist of the
installation of public streets and utilities for the 0'Leary's Hills 4th Addition
development. The lawest responsible bidder was Richard Knutson, Inc. at
$143,109.26. This is 29� under the engineers estimate and 37� under the .
feasibility report estimate.
Recommended action for the Council to consider waiilci be to �eceive the bids for
Gontract 1988-5 to 2owest responsible bidder, Ricl�ard Knutson, �nc. , in the
amount of $143,i09.26 and authorize the Atayor and Czty Glerk to sign the contract
documents.

BE iT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of l2osemount, Atinnesota, as
' follows:
' �. Ali bids on construction af 0'Leary's Hil.ls 4th Addition Street and
Utility Improvements are hereby received and tabvlatecl.
� 2. The bid of Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $143,109.26 for the
� construction of said improvements in aecordance with the plans and
' specifications and advertisement for bids is the lowest respansible bid
, and shaTl be and hereby is accepted.
3. The Playar and C1erk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for
and on behalf of the City of Rosemount, subject to approval of the
plans and specifications of City Project 1$4 by the Cammissioner of
� Transportation. '
; ; 4. The City Glerk is hereby authorized and directed ta return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit
of Che successful bidder ana the next two lowest biddsrs shall be
