RE: Shannon Park Irrigation
Bids were received for Pro�ect 4l 204, irrigation of Shannon Park. There were two
portions of this bid. One portion was to cover the area of cit� f.ields and the
other was, an altern�te `to cover the two �occer fields of 'the� schobl district:
The irrigation of all fields is recommended sinee these fields will be
"community" fields. The combination of athletic fields of the city and school
will aetually make up what will be known as Shannon Park.
The agreement of the school and city will show that the fields will be scheduled
by the city outside of the K - 12 programed day, The city will be the scheduler
during all hours other than the school dap.
All of the maintenance of the fields and ad3oining areas, other than the
immediate school building area, will be maintained by the city. By installing the
irrigation system on ali athletic fields the maintenance will be consistent in
all areas of the park.

PART 1 AND PART 2 ALTERNATS

BE IT RESOLVBD by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota, as £ollows:
1 . A11 bids on the irrigation sqstem for Shannon Park are
hereby received and tabulated .
2. The bid of Minnesota Valley Landscaping in the amount
of $61 , 131 .50 for the irrigation system in accordance
with the plans and specifications and advertisement for
bids, is the lowest responsible bid and shall be and
hereby is accepted.
3 . The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter 9.nto a contract with said bidder for the
construction of said improvements for and on behalf of
_� the City o£ Rosemount .
4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to a11 bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposit of the successful
b.i,ddsr.� and the next two lowest bidders �ha13. be ` �
retained until a contract has been executed.
