RE: Signatures Required for Resolution
A motion of the Parks & Recreation Cammfttee during the
November 20, 1989 meeting was to increase the doliar v�Iue in
the park dedication far�la. 'Tl�t value acaount wa� for sin
increa�e from $8,000.00 per acre to that of $1Q,040.Ot�.
This motion was honored by the city council on the evening of
. December 5, 1989.
Although the council did pass a motion to increase the land
value of the park dedication formula there had been no
resolution document drawn relating to this issue. That
document is now available for signing.
� Council action is requested to authorize appropriate ,
signatures required on the r�salution pertaining to the
' park dedication changes.

RESOLUTION 1989- r
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING LAND VALUES FCIR THE
COLLECTION OF PARK DEDICATION' FEES
� IN THE CITY OF ROSEM�UNT

� WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has adop.ted a Subdivision
Ordinance for the City (Ordinance No. XVII.4) , and this ardinance .
� • s�ets ou� .requirements for the dedieation of land and/or moni,es
.for the establishment and development of parks, playgrounds or
other public use exclusive of property dedicated for streets attd
other public ways in the Ca.ty; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has amended -
this Ordinance by adopting �rdi�nance XVII. $6 to establish new
guidelines and requirements for the dedication of l�nd and/or
cash payments far parks , playgrounds and other public use
exclusive of property dedicated for streets � and other public
ways ; and �
WHEREAS, this amended ordinance allows for the setting of certain
land values and cash amounts by Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has received
and reviewed informati4n on land values, dedication formulas and
cash contribution amounts ;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, _that the following Iand values be
set for the dedication of land and/or cash contribution for:
(1) New residential subdivision - $1�,flQQ.00/acre;
(2) New commercial subdivision - $2,2,000.00/acre;
(3) New industrial subdivision - $�2,000,00/acre.
