RE: Request to Purchase Squad Cars
The Hennepin County bids for squad cars were awarded ta
Farminqton Ford-Me�cury in Farmington, Minnesota. At this time
I would like to receive permission to purchase two squad cars
per budget approval .
These squads are 1990 Crown Victarias at a priee of $12,662 each
with a total of $25,324 . During our budgefi pracess we budget�d
$25, 500 to purchase squac�s.
These two new squads would be put into service to relieve the
present squads with 10�,O�Q plus miles pn them. The squads
taken out of service are not to be used far PoTice work but
will be sold at a planned auction with a tentative date of
May 19 , 1990 .
