A RESOLUTION AUTHaRIZING RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
SHANNON HZLLS STREET & UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT �190
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the plans and specifications by resolution on
July 5, 1989 for Shannon Hills Street & Utility Improvements, Project �190, and
WHEREAS, the original bid opening of July 28, 1989 had to be cancelled because
the Developer had not received finaT plat approval or posted his necessary
financial security.
WHExEAS, the second set bid opening of September 15, 1989 had to be cancelled
because the I�eveloper had not posted his necessary financial security.
NOW THEItEFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota:
1. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
City newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications far
. Project �190.
2. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at
least once not less than three (31 weeks before the date seL for opening bids,
shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened
on October 13, 1989 at 10:00 o'clock a.m, at Rosemount City Hall ir. said City and
� that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five (5�) percent of the amount of such bid.
ADOPTED this 19th day of September, 1989.
