WENSMANN ADDITIONS PUD AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
At the meeting Staff will present to Council a proposed amendment to the
Wensmann Additions Planned Unit Development (PUD) Agreement. "The purpose
of this amendment`will be to allow the City to assess the following fees against
that property which will be platted as Wensmann 4th and Wensmann 5th
Addition:
$21,800.00: For Wensmann 1st through 4th Additions the developer
owes the City this amount for its share of Installation i
and Maintenance costs for the Wind's Crossing Sanitary
Sewer Lift Station which serves those praperties. The
City has inadvertently failed to assess these costs for
Wensmann lst, 2nd and 3rd Rdditions.
$33,500.00 To avoid going through future assessment procedures when
Diamond Path is eventually constructed along the west
boundary of the Wensmann Additions; Mr. Herb Wensmann '
has agreed to allow this amount which represents an
estimate of today's construction costs for the residential
; equivalent for that portion of Diamond Path which would
abut the Wensmann Additians to be assessed against that
portion of the property" encompassing Wensmann Fourth
and Wensmann Fifth Additions. The reason for assessing
the estimated construction costs for Diamand Path at this
time is to avoid waiting until the property is platted and
having to come back later and assess individual
homeowners.
To allow these assessments to be certified so that payment can begin next year
it is necessary for City Council to authorize an amendmen•t to the Wensmann
Additions PUD Agreement. Director of Community Development will further
explain this matter at the meeting.
