Rec'ommendation for �ontract Award
On Tuesday, September 26, interviews were held with three �
consulting firms to review their praposals for the completion of
the space needs study for citp fac3.lities.
These three firms were chosen fromtthe °uestnforsgroposals�fo�
proposals, in response to the citp s reQ �he g �,cial needs
this pro�ect. The 'project include� reviewing P
of the city to house a11 degartme&tRe��eation� Communityative,
Police, Fire, Public Works, Park
Development, and Finance and recommendiag actions to efficientlg
and cost effectively develope expansion and construction plans to
do so. ,

We hoped the makeup of' this team allowed critical questioning
from a1S aspects of the pro�ect.
The three firms interviewed were: Winsor/Faricy, Architects,
Inc. of St. Paul, Boarman and Associates of Minneapolis, and
TKDA, Engineers, Architects & Planners of St. Paul.

It was the unanimous consensus of the citp�mtlete�reviewaofatheAa
Associates would provide the most open, c P
space needs of the citp facilities working within the RFP set out
for the pro�ect based on their experience and understanding of
the city' s needs.
