RE: Payment for Gha:nge in Jaycee Pro3ect (198 - $9 - 6)
Additional work was required in the Jaycee Park project that was
ordered bq the Council through SEH. This project is known as Pro3ect
� 148 and is under Contract � 89 - 6.
Due to a change in the design on the boarder between the Westridge
portion of the park on the south and the Wensmann portion of the
park on the north a fiber mat was required to be installed. This helps
to prevent erosion on the slope where a $reater degree of grade was
required. The cast of this item is $1,124.00.
The other addition was a section of four inch (4") water main for a
change in location of the control building for the irrigation system.
; The cost of this item is $620.96.
Council authorization is requested for approval of necessary sigttatures �
on documents` associated with this pro�ect change and to pay Brown &
Cris, the contractors involved with the Jaycee Park landscaping
project, the amount af $1,740.96 for the additional labor and materials
required to complete their contract work.
