CONSENT AGENDA
Approve Purchase of Engineering Theodolite
The Public Works Department budgeted $2,500 in the 1989 budget for purchase of an
engineering theodolite, which is basieally a high precision transit. The
Engineering Aepartment wi11 use this instrument for topographic surveys,
construction surveys, etc. The cost of the theodolite with a kripod is $2,2$5.
Pursuant to the Citys purchasing poliey, this amount requires Cauncil approval on
the consent agenda. Should any of the C�uncilmembers wish to view this piece of
equipment once we've received it, please feel free to contact me for a
demonstration.
