Engineering Technician Selection-Boyd Bailey
On Wednesday, December Z1, 198$, Park Di.rector $echtold and i interviewed four
candidates ta fill the addition$I engineering technieian position Couneil
approved in Che 1989 budget. Park Director Hechtold and my reco�nendation is for
the Cauncil to hire Boyd Bailey.
Mr. Baileys backgrounc� includes a B,S. degree in Business Administration and
Construction �tanagement from �tankato State tTniversity in 29$4. Sir�ce his
graduatian he has worked with Donohue Engineexs and Ai�ier Siewart and Assaciates.
Mr. Baileys proposed starting sa2ary is $22,50Q. His range for thi� position is
between $22,300 to a litt2e over $30,4UQ.
Action for Council to cansider under the Consent Agenda is to authorize the
hiring of Boyd G. Bailey as an Engineering Technician at a starting salary of
$22,SOfl, subject to suecessful completion of et�gloyment physieal �nd driver's
license check.
