Our Consulting Engineers have estimated 'the engin�ering services fo� this proje�t
'at $10�250� About'60� of those cost relate to contract administration, : ;
construction ''staking and xesident project observation. I feel that with the
possible exception of constructiun staking, we could ge�form the contraet
administration and resident project'observatioa, The canstructiort staking wi11
depend 'upon the availability af our engineering techaicians, because it wi11 take

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ,. %
AND AUTHORIZING ADYERTISEMENT OF BIDS
AMERICAN LEGION CURB, GUTTER & SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS '

WHEREAS� the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared final plans and
specificatians for the American Legion Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk Improvements,
Project �i207, and such plans and specifications have been presented to this
Council' for approval;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Ptinnesata:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approvedNand ordered placed on
file in the offiee of -the City Clerk, : '
2, The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted i.n the official
City newspaper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improYemecits
under such; agproved, plans and specificatinns for �'xoject 1i207.
� 3. The advertisement shall be published in said publication at 'least once
not less than ten (lfl) days before the date set for opening bids: -shall �pecify
the work 'to be done, shall state- that bids will be;publicly opened on September
18, 1989 at 2:00 o'clock p,m. at Rosemount City ,Hall in,said City and that t�o
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, ,bid bond or certified check
: payable to the City Clerk for five (5�) percent of the amount of such bid.
ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 1989.
