Recommended action for Council to consider is to adopt the attached resolution
approving the plans and specifications and authorizing the bid opening for
Contract 1989-8, Shannon Hills Addition on July 28, 1989 at 10:00 a.m.

WHEREAS, th� Consultin� En�ineer� £r�r th� City hav� prep,�red final plana and
speci�icat�an� £ar Shannar► Hi,ll� Street & Uti�.ity improvgmente, Pro,�ect I�19Q, end
such plans and specifications have been gsesented ta this Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVEA, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
, Minnesota:
, l. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on
file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the officiai
City newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications for
Project ��195.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at
least once not less than three (3) weeks before the date set far opening bids,
.--.- shall specify the work to be done, shali state that bids will be publicl;y opened
on July 28, 1989 at 10:00 o'elock a.m. at Rosemount City Hall in said, City and
that no bids will be considered unless sealec� and filed with the City Clerk anc�
aceompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certi�ied check
payable to the City Clerk for fi.ve (5%) pereent of the amount of such bid.
ADOPTED this 5th day of July, 1989.
