RE: Rural Water Update
Ihave received notification from Delta Environmental, the
University of Minnesota's consultant, that the University has
given their go ahead to proceed with the project.
At this time final plans and specifications are being drafted,
discussion with the Vo -Tech to insure their service is provided
adequately with the new ''_system and soon test wells will be
drilled at the old city hall site set aside for the system
location.
The University hopes to have contracts signed and construction
commenced this spring (construction season). Yet to come will be
discussion with the University on ownership transfer, liability
of the University after ownership transfer and other issues yet
to be seen.
I will: be pleased to discuss this further with you on Tuesday.
