RE: Lucking'Insurance'Claim
Remembering that this was a case where Mrs. Lucking fell after
tripping on "a sidewalk which was spalled and required medical
attention and experienced loss of work, the claim was initially
denied by the insurance company. Then following the City
Council's request, additional review by the insurance company was
done.
Following this additional review of this; case, discussion with
maintenance employees and Mrs. Lucking, our insurance company has
agreed to offer Mrs. Lucking $1,100 as a settlement for medical
attention and loss of wages. She has accepted the offer, and so
the case is closed.
