Attached are copies of the annual permit summary sheet and 1980-
1987 housing summaries. The annual permit summary is identified as
the "December" report; however, it includes the "year to date"
totals. It also provides a comparison to December and annual
totals for 1986. The 1980-1987 housing information is self-
explanatory.
Outside of noting that 1987 was our biggest housing and total
valuation year, I don't know what else to comment on at this time.
I would prefer to wait until we make our department presentation to
go into any reflections on trends (past or present). On the other
hand, if you wish more information or clarification, I will be
prepared to respond at the February 2nd Regular Meeting.
