The total estimated cost of said improve- ment is $238,515. The amount to be assessed is estimated to not exceed $238,515. The area proposed to be assessed for the foregoing improvements would generally be all that area generally described as Lots 5-14 and Lots 30-35, Block 2; Lot 1, Block 3; Lots 12-21, Block 4,* Valley Oak Addition Repiat, Phase Ill. Valley Oak Addition Replat, Phase III Utility and Street Improvements Project #180 On January 5, 1988 the Council accepted a petition from the Developer of the 3rd phase of the Valley Oak Addition Replat and authorized the preparation of a feasibility report for utility and street construction within this 3rd phase. Then on February 16, 1988 Council received the feasibility report for this project and ordered a Public Hearing to be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 1988. Staff mailed all necessary notices and published required notice in the legal newspaper regarding the public hearing the City is holding on March 15th. A representative from our Consulting Engineering firm will be on hand to make a short presentation regarding the feasibility of the project and estimated construction cost. The total construction cost amount to $177,000.00. In addition to that this development is also responsible for $56,958.00 that was not assessed for lateral benefits from core facilities installed under City Project #154, Contract 1985-3. Therefore the total amount this development would be responsible for would be $233,958.00. Dividing this number by the 27 new lots in Phase III would amount to a pending assessment of $8,666.00 per lot. CITY OF ROSEMOUNT RESOLUTION 1988 - A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR VALLEY OAK ADDITION REPLAT, PHASE III CITY PROJECT #180 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has received a petition for utility and street improvements for that area generally described as Lots 5-14; Block 2; Lots 30-35, Block 2; Lots 12-21, Block 4; and Lot 1, Block 3, all in Valley Oak Addition Replat, Phase III; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and accepted the feasibility report on City Project #180; and WHEREAS, the City Council held the required public hearing on March 15, 1988, at which hearing the Council received input on Project No. 180. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby orders City Project No. 180 for utility and street improvements petitioned for Valley Oak Addition Replat, Phase III. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby orders the plans and specifications for the construction of street and utility improvements in the Valley Oak '•-- Addition Replat, Phase III known as City Project #180.
