Finance Support Positian
In the process to fill the recently vacated F'inance Sugport Position
and because of the promotion of Jeff May to Deputy F3.nance Director, we
have considered the promotion of Diana Korpela to that position.
There have been seve.ral discussions to this end, and st�ff feels Diana
would most appropriatelp fi11 that vacancp. She has been approached
and, upon your approval, would accept this pr4motion.
The promotion would mean for Diana a salarq increase and an opportunitp
to expand into other areas of the work force. This would obviouelq make
her more valuable to us.
I would ask then that qou would approve the hirin� of Diana Karpela to
the position of Finance Support Position �nd authorize her to move,
upon successful �ompleti.on of performance evaluations, to a i988 mid-
point salarq of $23,p00.
I would also ask that you authorize the advertising for the filling of
the position now he2d by ➢iana as Deputp Registrar C1erk. This poaition
carries a salary midpoint of $14500.
