RE: Purchase of Country Hills Addition Siren

We would at this time like to purchase one ( 1 ) siren for Country
Hills Addition so that it can be installed at the end of the
second phase or beginning of the third phase
As you will note, the City will be the contractor on this siren.
I have contacted Corrigan Electric as he is the installer of
the majority of sirens in the Dakota County area. He stated
with installation of our pole that we already have and the wiring
of the unit, the maximum price would be $1,200. The price of
the siren and controls would be $7,763.00 (quote attached)
If this siren goes into phase 3 there will be a clause in the
phase 3 contract that the developer will pay for the installation
as per the original development agreement. It is possible that
it could be paid by the developer in the second phase but that
agreement is already signed and in play at this time.
Installation location of the first siren for the Country Hills
Development will be between Dartmouth Path and Dallara Avenue
West on Dane Avenue.

Dear Chief Staats:
This will confirm the pricing I quoted you on my visit to your office April
4th for One RSH10B, 240 volt single phase ThunderBeam Siren, RC5WB Motor
Starter and ARCH*S2 Siratrol Radio Activator at:
Seven thousand nine hundred Dollars ($7.900.00)
I also picked up a copy of the siren repair invoice from Steve Nelson at
Midwest Siren Service in the amount of $137.00, and dicussed it with the
factory. Altho neither they or I can find any defects in materials furn-
ished, they have authorized me to allow that amount on the purchase of a
new siren should you award us that order.
In other words, your cost would be $7,900.00 less $137.00 or $7,763.00.
We look forward to serving you again.
