7k. BILL MAURER & DICK WINKLER - SIMPLE LOT DIVISION
Bill Maurer and Dick Winkler are pursuing the purchase of
approximately 173 acres of land located east of Bacardi and north
of County Road 38 (see location map). Mr. Maurer and Mr. Winkler
wish to divide -off two homesites from this property at this time
and retain ownership of the remainder with the idea of
potentially developing the property many years in the future,
should utilities become available. They have suggested that they
would probably not be, interested in developing for 15-20 years.
Included with this review is a survey which illustrates the
proposed lot divisions. The proposed lots meet the minimum 300'
frontage requirement for Agricultural Zoned property and also
exceed the 10 acre lot size density requirement. The proposed
lot division may be approved ,by a Division of Property by Metes
and BoundsDescriptionswhich requires a recommendation from the
Planning Commission and approvalby Resolution by City Council.
Included with this review is a copy of the required Resolution
and a Certificate of Survey with legal descriptions

Resolution 1988-
A Resolution Approving Divisions of
Property by Metes and Bounds Descriptions
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has received a request to
subdivide property by metes and bounds descriptions; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount
has recommended approval of the subdivision.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the
City of Rosemount hereby approves the metes and bounds division
of property generally described as part of the west 1,460.00 feet
of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 16,
Township 115, Range 19, resulting in the parcels described on the
attached survey, herein described as Exhibit A and made a part
of this resolution.
Adopted this 7th day of June, 1988.
