Accept Bids/Award Contract, Valley Oak Addition, Phase III,
Street and Utilities
Staff opened bids for City Contract 1988-1, Valley 0ak Addition Street & Utility
Improvements, at 10:00 a.m., June 16, 1988. The apparent low bidder is Moser
Construction at $108,140.48. There were six bids submitted overall.
The low bid is 5% less than the Engineers estimate and over 26% less than the
feasibility report estimate as is shown on the bid tabulation sheet that is
attached.
Recommended action for Council to consider would be to receive the bids and award
the contract for the Valley 0ak Replat Addition, Phase III Street & Utility
Improvements, City Contract 1988-1, to the lowest responsible bidder, Moser
Construction, in the amount of $108,140.48 and to authorize the Mayor and Clerk
to sign the contracts.
