RE: ITEMS FOR JUNE 21, 1988 COUNCIL MEETING
NEW BUSINESS
Adopt "No Parking" Resolution along Chippendale Avenue from 151st Street to
CSAH 42 —
This resolution is triggered because of the Chippendale Bituminous Walkway
Project. The City is requesting State Aid funding for construction of this
bituminous walkway and State Aid is requiring the "No Parking" resolution on this
section of Chippendale Avenue to meet their guidelines. Besides Chippendale
Avenue is not designed for parallel parking.
Recommended action for Council to consider is to adopt the attached "No Parking
resolution along Chippendale Avenue between 151st Street and CSAH 42.
CITY OF ROSEMOUNT
RESOLUTION 1988 -
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON
S.A.P. 208-107-02 (CHIPPENDALE AVENUE) FROM
151ST STREET TO CSAH 42
IN THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has planned the improvement of MSAS 107
(Chippendale Avenue) from 151st Street to CSAH 42, and

improvement of this Street, and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both
sides of the street, approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State
Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking
restrictions, and
WHEREAS, the extent of the restrictions, that would be a necessary prerequisite
to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State Aid Project in the
"City", have been determined by the City of Rosemount.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Rosemount shall ban the parking of
motor vehicles on the east and west sides of MSAS 107 (Chippendale Avenue) at all
