Trunk Highway 3 Im2rovements from County Road 42 to 142nd Street
MnDOT is considering placing this project on the 1992-1993 work program. I have
informed MnDOT that we are interested in pursuing this project and will provide
any assistance we can to assist MnDOT in keeping this project on their specified
timetable. I will be contacting MnDOT's preliminary design engineer in August to
discuss the proposed project in more detail. MnDOT is suggesting that prior to
that meeting the City consider what improvements or changes that the City would
like MnDOT to incorporate in this project. For example, any additional frontage
road construction or frontage road removal, better delineation of parking lots
from road shoulders, etc. I would appreciate any input Council might have
regarding this project. I would be happy to discuss this matter with any Council
member at their convenience.
