Approve Plans and Specs, Contract 1988-6, Shannon Oaks Street Improvements
Our Consulting Engineering firm has completed the plans and specifications for
Contract 1988-6, Shannon Oaks Street Improvements. Staff has reviewed these
plans and would recommend that Council approve them and authorize a bid opening
date.
Recommended action for council to consider is to approve the plans and
specifications for Contract 1988-6, Shannon Oaks Street Improvements, and
authorize a bid opening to be held Friday, August 12, 1988 at 10:30 a.m. in the
City Hall.

RESOLUTION 1988
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
SHANNON OAKS STREET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY CONTRACT 1988-6
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Rosemount City Council on the 7th
of June, 1988, the Consulting Engineer did prepare plans and specifications for
the construction of streets in the Shannon Oaks Addition and has presented these
plans and specification to the Rosemount City Council for approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount
hereby approves the Engineer's final plans and specifications for street
improvements in the Shannon Oaks Addition, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
authorizes the City Administrator/Clerk to prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official City newspaper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published as required in Minnesota Statutes 429 and shall specify the
work to be completed and shall state the time and place of the opening of these
bids and the time and place that the City Council will consider these bids.
No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City
Administrator/Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond
or'certified check payable to the City of Rosemount in the amount of five (5%)
percent of the bid submitted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that 4aid plans and specifications be placed on file in
the office of the City Administrator/Clerk.
ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 1988.
