SUBJECT: Naming of Parks
The Rosemount Parks & Recreation Committee passed a motion
regarding the naming of two
of the neighborhood parks in
Rosemount.
The park land acquired through a development dedication
for parks in the Country Hills
Addition is being requested to
be named CONNEMARA PARK and
the park lobated at 2420 145th
Street last is requested to
be named BISCAYNE PARK.
The Committee is requesting
the city council to pass
appropriate resolutions to
cause this naming to take place.

RESOLUTION 1988 —
A RESOLUTION NAMING A CITY PARK,
BISCAYNE PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Rosemount has received a
recommendation from the Rosemount Parks and Recreation Committee
to give the name of Biscayne Park to the park area located at
2420 145th Street East in Rosemount; and
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees with the recommendation of the
Parks and Recreation Codunittee.
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Rosemount names the neighborhood park located on 2420
145th Street East in the City of Rosemount, Biscayne Park.
ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1988.
