A rove Plans and Spec's/Authorize Bid Opening-O'Learv's Hills 4th Addition
In response to a petition by the developer, Steve Broback, Council has approved
this project at a public hearing and ordered our Consulting Engineer to prepare
plans and specifications. These plans and specifications are now complete and
Staff is requesting the Council approve them and authorize a bid opening. Staff
has reviewed the plans and recommends to Council that the bid opening be set for
10:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 1988.
Recommended action for Council to take is -to approve the plans and specifications
for City Contract 1988-5, O'Leary's Hills 4th Addition Utility and Street
Improvements, Project 184 and authorize a bid opening for Friday, September 2,
1988 at 10:00 a.m.

RESOLUTION 1988 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
O'LEARY'S HILLS 4TH ADDITION STREET & UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY CONTRACT 1988-5
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared final plans and
specifications for O'Leary's Hills 4th Addition Street and Utiltiy Improvements,
City Contract 1988-5, Project 184, and such plans and specifications have been
presented to this Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
City newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications for
City Contract 1988-5.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at
least once not less than three weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened on
September 2, 1988 at 10:00 o'clock a.m. at Rosemount City Hall in said City and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five (5%) percent of the amount of such bid.
ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1988.
