SUBJECT: Authorization For Umpire Payment
The Rosemount City League Tournament was held this past
weekend. This memo relates to the payment of the umpires for
that tournament.
The check was not drawn for the umpires due to the fact that
the number of games during a tournament often changes.
The umpires salaries are usually paid on the final day of the
tournament. This isnot possible for tournaments hosted by a
municipality due to the check writing procedures.
This payment is normally authorized with the general council
checks. Since the check is yet to be drawn it is not included
in the council bills for the meeting of August 2nd.
I am requesting authorization for a check in the amount of
$957.00 to be drawn and paid to the Rosemount / Eagan Umpires
Association.
