Re: Special Meeting/Cldsed Session
Comp Worth Presentation
Karen Olson of Labor Relations Inc., our consultant for
contracts, Union matters and comparable worth has been working
with me to complete a proposed comparable worth plan for your
consideration.
So that we may give you an opportunity to discuss this matter,.
review the proposed plan and give direction to us to complete it
we suggest a special council meeting at 6:30 p.m. on August 16
prior to our regular meeting that night.
We ask that this be a closed session, which is allowed under
state law because it will be part of salary negotiations for the
union as well as non union employees.
Karen and I will be putting together a packet for review prior to
the August 16 meeting.
