Receive Feasibility Report/Set Public Hearing for Shannon Hills Addition
Project 190
Our Consulting Engineers have completed the feasibility report Council ordered on
July 5, 1988 based on a petition by the developer of the Shannon Hills Addition.
This project includes the installation of public utilities and streets. Enclosed
in your packet is a copy of the feasibility report for this project.
Recommended action for Council to consider is to adopt the attached resolution to
receive the feasibility report for Shannon Hills Addition Utilities and Streets,
City Project 190, and seta public hearing for September 20, 1988 at 8:00 p.m.

RESOLUTION 1988 -
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT OF CITY PROJECT
#190, SHANNON HILLS UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS, AND CALLING FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council deemed it necessary and expedient that the City of
Rosemount, Minnesota, construct certain improvements,,to-wit: City Project x{`190,
Shannon Hills Utility & Street Improvements, in the City as described in and in
accordance with the feasibility report prepared by Short -Elliott -Hendrickson,
Inc., Consulting Engineers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised by the Consulting Engineers that said
utility & street improvement project, City Project #190 is feasible and should
best be made as proposed, and the Consulting Engineers' report to this effect has
heretofore been received by Council, and filed with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the statute provided that no such improvements shall be made until the
Council has held a public hearing on such improvements following mailed notice
and two publications thereof in the official newspaper stating time and place of
the hearing, the general nature of the improvement, the estimated costs thereof,
and the area proposed to be assessed, in accordance with the law,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount that a
public hearing be scheduled to consider City Project #190, Shannon Hills Utility
and Street Improvements to be held on Tuesday, September 20, 1988, at 8:00
o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1988.
