Conduct Town Meeting (MCIP Leadership) Council, Staff, Sept.•26-30 Place: Rosemount High School Student Center MCIP, Community Ed., Advisory Comm. Tentative Schedule: A. Film to introduce concept of vision setting. B. Dream session; What would Rosemount look like? Facilitator What do you envision this community becoming? Small groups of 5-8. Each group will come up with 5-8 very general, non-specific, future oriented statements that answer the questions "what?" or "which?" C. Large Group Reporting and Prioritizing Facilitator Each recorder will report 2 of their groups dreams. Reporting will continue until all dreams have been exhausted. The facilitator will lead a prioritizing session. All reported dreams will be numbered. Each participant will be asked to pick the 5 most important dreams. The data will be tallied and the 5-8 most identified dreams will be determined. Advisory Committee, staff, and council meet with Nov 14 Decision Resources Nov 25 Decision Resources to debrief survey trends and patterns. B. Advisory Committee synthesizes data from the Nov 14 Decision Resources Nov 25 survey and town meeting ,to determine the goals/ objectives that will bring the identified dreams to fulfillment. (Objectives are more specific, in other words, an action plan of "how' to achieve > identified dreams.) C. Advisory Committee presents Goal/Objectives/Action Advisory Committee Jan .17 Plan recommendations to council, staff and commissions.
